The discount was nice and I like to shop local when I can.
The free shipping was nice, dropped off by Trev I believe - that was sweet.
The packaging was very nice and I like that the candle has a glass lid - I’ll use the jar when it’s finished.
I was a little surprised at the rough top of the candle - I’ve poured a few myself and hitting it with a heat gun when the pour isn’t right is worth the time imo.
Unfortunately I was disappointed by the scent. I didn’t get vanilla, rose OR ylang ylang. It doesn’t smell terrible, just like a generic perfume-y scent. Not sure if it was a mixup in labeling, too many scents or poor quality fragrance, but definitely not what I was expecting when the fragrance was touted as being high quality and professional. Personally, I wouldn’t purchase again, at least not at full price. Sorry Trev.

I also appreciate that you have both good and bad listed. It shows me how much you put into this and makes me want to do that much more to make this right!
For starters, I’m really glad you appreciated the packaging, the local delivery, and the reusable jar. Those are all details I care about, so it means a lot to hear they stood out.
That said, I’m truly sorry the candle didn’t meet your expectations in terms of scent and finish. A smooth top is always the goal, and I appreciate you pointing that out. It helps me improve. As for the fragrance, it sounds like something may have gone off in the blend or labeling, and I take that seriously. Every batch is poured by hand, so it’s possible something slipped past me. And this is something I could go on and on about but this is a long reply already.
If you’re open to it, I’d love to make it right. Whether that means sending a replacement or offering a refund, I want to make sure your experience feels appreciated.
